One-Time Lifetime Carbon Offset
The earlier you make an impact and plant the trees that will offset your carbon emissions, the sooner the benefit from your action is realized. While planting trees every year is certainly a great practice, for those who are able, a one-time large-scale planting is an excellent option.
Each lifetime offset is guaranteed to result in the planting of at least 11,000 trees on 20 acres of new forest in the Midwest United States in our next round of planting. That is an area of forest nearly the size of twenty football fields or 310 tennis courts that exists because of you.
You will receive:
- Lifetime Carbon Offset Only: A customized and engraved wall plaque: This commemorative plaque certifies your lifetime offset in a way that you would be honored to display. This includes your name (or the name/family name you wish to appear there), the number of trees planted, newly established forest acreage, and the location of your planting project in the midwestern United States.
- Lifetime Carbon Offset Only: A detailed report on your specific tree planting plot. This includes the exact location of your plot, satellite/aerial imagery and plot dimensions. If you contact us to set up an appointment, you may visit the plot of trees that resulted from your offset. Imagine visiting your plot in 20 years to find a forest standing 50 feet tall on previously barren ground. While everyone offsetting with Green Future receives details on our planting projects, since you would plant a whole 20 acres at one time, we can easily mark out the stand of trees that were planted on your behalf.
- A personalized digital certificate of your lifetime carbon offset: This certifies your lifetime offset and includes your name (or the name/family name you choose), the number of trees planted, newly established forest acreage, and the location of planting project in the midwestern United States.
- Program status updates via email: We will keep you updated on the status of your planting project and Green Future’s activities overall. These updates will include images of the projects as they are carried out and as the trees grow. Additionally, completed projects appear on our homepage under “Success Stories” and will be updated at least annually to track growth and progress.
- Green Future Merchandise Packet: Includes several stickers, two hats, and a commemorative keychain. This allows you to show off your good deed and be reminded of your commitment to carbon neutrality.
- Lifetime Carbon Offset Only: Direct support and contact with Founder/CEO: For Lifetime Offset Partners Only, you will receive the Founder/CEO’s personal cell phone number for any questions, concerns, or support requests that you may have. We understand the gravity and importance of the commitment you are making to live your life in a sustainable way, and we are 100% dedicated to this mission as well.
1 Emissions based on the average carbon emissions of one individual in the United States and sourced from The World Bank [Accessed here: CO2 Emissions (metric tons per capita) – United States | Data (worldbank.org) ] An approximate 30% margin of error is included to allow for above average emissions or below average tree growth and survivability. This means we plant 30% more trees than the average it would take to offset your emissions.
