Couple Carbon Offset (Annual)
You and your partner are about to take an important first step toward living your life in a sustainable and environmentally-friendly manner. Voluntary carbon offset is something that is extremely honorable and it will become commonplace in the years to come. This annual subscription will allow Green Future to plant enough trees to offset the carbon emissions of two individuals(1), which could be you and your partner or someone to whom you wish to give this gift of sustainability.
Each year, this offset is guaranteed to result in the planting of at least 290 trees on 0.5 acres of new forest in the Midwest United States. That is an area of forest slightly larger than 2.75 basketball courts each year.
You will receive:
- A personalized digital certificate of your carbon offset: This certifies your lifetime offset and includes your name (or the name/family name you choose), the number of trees planted, newly established forest acreage, and the location of planting project in the midwestern United States.
- Program status updates via email: We will keep you updated on the status of your planting project and Green Future’s activities overall. These updates will include images of the projects as they are carried out and as the trees grow. Additionally, completed projects appear on our homepage under “Success Stories” and will be updated at least annually to track growth and progress.
- Support and contact Green Future: We understand the gravity and importance of the commitment you are making to live your life in a sustainable way, and we are 100% dedicated to this mission as well. We are here ready to answer any questions, concerns, or support requests that you may have.
- A link to order Green Future Merchandise: Show off your commitment to carbon neutrality with our stickers, hats, and more. Why is this not included in the price? In order to have the greatest impact on the environment and plant the greatest number of trees, we do not include merchandise in offset packets. Also, you only receive the merchandise you want, saving wasteful emissions unnecessary packing materials for something you may not have wanted.
(1) Emissions based on the average carbon emissions of one individual in the United States and sourced from The World Bank [Accessed here: CO2 Emissions (metric tons per capita) – United States | Data (worldbank.org) ] An approximate 30% margin of error is included to allow for above average emissions or below average tree growth and survivability. This means we plant 30% more trees than the average it would take to offset your emissions.
